My son attended the Zebra Robotics coding class in Toronto Danforth, and overall, we had a positive experience. The instructor, Emma, was very engaged and made the block-based programming enjoyable for the kids. My son particularly loved building a small robot and coding it to follow commands. It was great to see him so focused and excited about learning. Classes are small, so there was ample opportunity for one-on-one help, which I appreciated. However, I did notice that there was quite a bit of screen time involved, which I wish could be balanced with more hands-on activities. The pickup process was smooth, but I found the pricing a bit on the higher side for ongoing classes. Despite these minor annoyances, I would recommend the program for kids who are interested in STEM and enjoy creative projects.

We recently enrolled my 9-year-old at Zebra Robotics' coding program in Toronto Danforth. Overall, it has been a solid experience. My son, who is quite focused and creative, enjoyed building a simple game using block-based programming in the first class. The instructor, Lisa, was very engaging, and she made the material accessible even for kids new to coding. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, I did notice that some activities involved quite a bit of screen time, which I’m not entirely comfortable with. Also, the pickup process could be more organized; it felt a bit chaotic at times. Despite these minor annoyances, the program fosters a great learning environment that encourages kids to explore their creativity. I would recommend it with the caveat to keep an eye on screen time.
