My son, who is 9, just completed his first month at Robolab in Toronto, and overall, it’s been a solid experience. The instructors, especially Maya, clearly care about the kids and are great at explaining coding concepts in a fun way. My son built a simple robot that he programmed to navigate a small obstacle course, which he found both challenging and exciting. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic some days, with long lines forming as parents waited. I think they could improve on that aspect. That said, the small class size allows for more personalized attention, and my son has already made a few friends. I appreciate how they encourage creativity in problem-solving without overwhelming the kids. I would recommend Robolab for parents looking for engaging activities for their children, just keep an eye on the pickup logistics.
