Elite Camps Training Centre — Basketball

My son attended the Elite Camps Training Centre basketball program in Toronto last month, and overall, it was a solid experience. His coach, Mark, was very engaging and worked hard to keep the kids interested. They focused on basic skills and teamwork, which was great for my son, who loves basketball but is still developing his skills. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, I did notice that some sessions were crowded, making it difficult for the kids to have ample space to practice. Pickup was also somewhat chaotic, as many parents picked up at the same time, leading to some confusion. Despite this, my son had a fantastic time, made a few friends, and can't wait to go back next week. If you’re considering this program, just be prepared for the hustle at the end of each session.

My son, who is quite active, enjoyed the drills and even learned how to shoot a layup, which he has been practicing at home. The small group size allowed for more individual feedback and improvement. However, I did find that the pickup process was a bit chaotic at times, with long lines forming as parents gathered their kids. It would be better if they could streamline that a little. Despite the minor annoyance, I would recommend this program for kids looking to improve their skills while having fun in a supportive environment.
