The Danforth Art Studio - 4Cats Certified — Visual Arts

We recently enrolled our 6-year-old in a half-day session at The Danforth Art Studio in Toronto, and overall, it was a positive experience. The instructor, Sarah, was enthusiastic and connected well with the children. My child particularly enjoyed painting a colorful canvas and even made a small sculpture out of clay. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which is a big plus. However, we did experience some long lines during drop-off, which made the start a bit chaotic. It would be great if they could streamline that process a bit. Despite that hiccup, my child came home excited and eager to show off their creations. The program fostered their creativity in a welcoming environment. I’d recommend this program, especially for kids who love to express themselves through art.

I took my 6-year-old to The Danforth Art Studio for their half-day visual arts program last Saturday. The instructor, Sarah, was wonderful at engaging the kids and helping them explore their creativity. My child loved working on a clay sculpture of a dragon, and the atmosphere was really supportive. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic; I had to wait in a long line for about 15 minutes, which was frustrating. On the plus side, my child made a new friend during the class, which was a delightful bonus. Overall, I think it was a solid experience for budding young artists, just be prepared for a little wait at the end.
