My 14-year-old daughter recently joined the weekly visual arts class at Mangled Studios in Toronto, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The instructor, Jamie, really connected with the kids and encouraged everyone to express themselves through their projects. My daughter worked on a painting that she was really proud of, which is saying something as she can be a bit shy about sharing her art. I also appreciated the inclusive environment that allowed her to feel comfortable and explore her creativity. One small annoyance was the long lines during drop-off, which made it a bit chaotic at times. I wish they had a more efficient system in place for that. Still, we plan to continue attending since she has already made a friend in the class and is looking forward to the next project. The price seems fair for the level of engagement and materials provided. I'd recommend it to other parents looking for a supportive art program in the area.
