KIDS ARTE — Visual Arts

My daughter, Mia, recently attended the KIDS ARTE Visual Arts program in North York, Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Sarah, was genuinely enthusiastic and took the time to engage each child, which really helped Mia feel comfortable. She loved working on her mixed-media collage project, which allowed her to express her creativity freely. I appreciated the small group size, as it gave them more individual attention. However, there were some long pickup lines, which could be frustrating after a long day. Additionally, I noticed some kids were a bit restless during the transitions between activities. Despite this, I think it's a great option for creative kids aged 5-7. We're looking forward to enrolling again next term!

The instructors, like Emma, were very engaged and really encouraged the kids to express themselves artistically. My son created a beautiful mixed-media collage, which he was very proud of. The program runs weekly, and while the art activities were fantastic, I did find the drop-off process a bit chaotic, with parents crowding at the entrance. It would have been nice if there were a more organized way to handle that. Despite this, my son made a friend and came home excited after each class, which is a big win for us. I would recommend KIDS ARTE, but be prepared for a bit of hustle at drop-off time.
