Sydney Academy of Sport Campsite Building — Science

My son recently attended the Sydney Academy of Sport's Campsite Building program, and overall, it was a solid experience. He is 9 and loves being active, so the outdoor setting was perfect for him. He came home excited about the campsite he built with his group and the experiments they conducted, particularly the one involving a homemade volcano. The instructor, Jamie, was very engaging and seemed to really know how to keep the kids interested. However, we experienced some long lines during pickup, which was a bit chaotic and stressful. I would recommend this program for active kids who enjoy hands-on science, but I suggest arriving early for pickup if you can. It was a fun day overall, and my son even made a new friend!

Despite this, my son came home excited about what he learned and mentioned he made a friend. I would recommend this camp for active kids who love to explore and experiment, as long as you're prepared for a slightly disorganized pickup.
