I recently enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the Future Vet Kids Camp in Sydney, and overall, it was a solid experience. The staff, particularly a wonderful instructor named Sarah, were highly engaged with the kids, which really made a difference. My daughter loved the hands-on project where they built a model of a dog's anatomy. It sparked her interest in science and veterinary medicine, which was the main reason for signing her up. One downside was the long lines during pickup; it could have been better organized. Additionally, while the camp was priced a bit on the higher side at around $450 for the week, the small group size ensured personalized attention. If you have a child who is outgoing and has an interest in animals, I'd recommend this camp, but prepare for a bit of waiting on pickup.

My child attended the Future Vet Kids Camp in Sydney last week, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, especially Mia, were very engaging and seemed to connect well with the kids. My son, who is 9 and loves animals, got to do a dissection of a sheep heart and learned about animal anatomy, which he found fascinating. However, the camp had a bit of a chaotic drop-off on the first day, with long lines and not enough staff to guide parents. They did improve it by the middle of the week, but it was a little frustrating at first. On the plus side, my son made a friend who shares his passion for veterinary science, and they worked on some creative projects together. While it is on the pricier side, I think the hands-on learning made it worth it. I would recommend this camp, particularly for kids who are active and curious about animals.
