Kong Academy HQ — Soccer

We enrolled our 9-year-old son in the Kong Academy HQ soccer program in Seattle, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The instructors, especially Jake, were enthusiastic and really engaged with the kids, which made practice enjoyable. My son learned a lot about teamwork and boosting his soccer skills while having fun outdoors. The small group size really allowed for personalized attention, which I appreciated. One minor annoyance was the drop-off process. It felt a little chaotic, especially when so many parents were arriving at the same time. It would be great to have a more organized flow for that. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of learning he’s getting, and he’s made a few friends already, which is a bonus. I would recommend it, but just be prepared for the hectic drop-off situation.

My son worked on his passing and dribbling techniques, and he even made a new friend in the process, which was a nice bonus. The outdoor setting is a great way for the kids to enjoy the fresh air during practice. However, I did notice that the pickup process can get a bit chaotic, with long lines forming as parents arrive to collect their kids. It would be helpful if they had a more organized system for that. Despite the minor annoyance, I feel confident recommending this program for any active child looking to improve their soccer skills.
