Code Ninjas Sammamish — Coding

I enrolled my 9-year-old at Code Ninjas Sammamish for their weekly coding program in Seattle, and overall, we had a positive experience. The instructor, Alex, was engaging and made coding fun for the kids. My daughter loved building her own simple video game using Scratch, and I could see her problem-solving skills improving week by week. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which I appreciated. One small annoyance was the amount of screen time involved; while I understand it's necessary for coding, I wish there were more hands-on activities to balance it out. Pickup was smooth, and I felt well-informed about what my child was learning each week. I would recommend this program for parents looking for a creative outlet for their kids, but keep an eye on the screen time if that's a concern for you.

While he was engaged and learning, I wish there had been more balance with hands-on activities. Pickup was organized, and I liked that I could see what he was working on each week. Despite the screen time concern, I think it’s a great program for kids interested in coding, especially those who are focused and enjoy creative projects.
