Tree Frog Treks — Science

My son attended the Tree Frog Treks science program in San Francisco, and overall, it was a good experience. The instructor, Mia, was incredibly engaging and kept the kids excited about their projects, which involved building simple machines from recycled materials. My son loved creating a mini catapult, and it sparked his interest in physics. One downside was the long lines during pickup; it felt a bit chaotic at times, especially on the first day. The small group size allowed for personal attention, which was a definite plus. The program runs weekly and kept him active and involved. I would recommend this program, but just be prepared for a little waiting at the end of the day.

Nonetheless, my son made a few friends and came home excited about science each week. The program is a bit pricey, but if your child is active and enjoys interactive learning, it’s worth considering.
