Tree Frog Treks — Nature & Outdoors

I enrolled my 6-year-old daughter in Tree Frog Treks in San Francisco, and overall, it was a solid experience. Each week, she participates in a range of outdoor activities that keep her engaged and excited about nature. Last week, they built birdhouses together, which she loved and was so proud to take home. The instructors, especially a gentle guy named Mark, were great with the kids and really fostered a sense of exploration. The small group size made it easy for her to connect with both the staff and the other kids, and she even made a new friend! My only complaint is that the drop-off can get a bit chaotic, especially with a few long lines. But once you get through that, the program shines. I definitely recommend it for active kids who enjoy being outdoors, just be prepared for some busy moments at drop-off.

The instructor, Sarah, was engaging and encouraging, which really helped my son dive into the activities. The outdoor time was definitely a highlight for him, as he loves being outside. One small annoyance was the long lines during drop-off, which made it a bit hectic initially. But once we got through, I could see he was in good hands. The program's hands-on approach fostered his curiosity in nature, and he's looking forward to going back next week. I would recommend this program, especially for kids who enjoy being active in the outdoors.
