We recently started attending the Nihonmachi Little Friends language program in San Francisco with my 6-year-old son, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The small group size allows for more interaction, which has been great for my shy child. The instructor, Yuki, really engaged the kids with fun language games and creative projects—my son particularly enjoyed making a vocabulary poster that he was proud to bring home. One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup; it took a bit longer than expected, which can be tough after a long day. However, the staff was very friendly, which helped ease the wait. I would recommend this program for parents looking to enhance their child's language skills in a supportive environment, just prepare for a little waiting time at the end of class.
