We enrolled our 4-year-old at L’Academy Language Immersion in Hayes Valley, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The weekly language sessions have helped our daughter grow more confident in her verbal skills, especially in Spanish. Her instructor, Carla, is wonderfully engaging and seems to truly connect with the kids, which makes a big difference. My daughter particularly enjoyed a creative project where they built a mini model of a city using recycled materials while learning vocabulary related to it. The small group size allows for more personalized attention, which I've appreciated. However, the drop-off can be a little chaotic, especially on busy mornings, causing us to wait in long lines. It would be nice if they could streamline that process a bit. Overall, I would recommend this program for its nurturing environment and engaging activities, especially for children who may be a bit shy.

The staff, especially our lead instructor Lena, is very engaging and clearly passionate about teaching languages. Each week, my child participates in creative projects, like making colorful flashcards for different animals in Spanish. The small group size allows for personalized attention, which has been great for developing his language skills. However, the pickup can be a bit chaotic with long lines, especially on Wednesdays. Overall, this program has been a positive experience for us. My child comes home excited to talk about what he learned and has even made a new friend. If you're looking for a nurturing environment that focuses on language development, I recommend giving L’Academy a try, just be prepared for the pickup situation.
