Aventuras — Languages

My child recently attended the Aventuras language program in San Francisco, and overall, it was a solid experience. The classes are held weekly, and I appreciate that the group size is kept small, allowing for more personal attention from the instructors. My child, who tends to be a bit shy, surprisingly opened up during the creative projects, especially when they worked on a puppet show in Spanish. It was great to see them engaged and having fun while learning. Pickup was smooth, and the staff was friendly and communicative, which made the process easy for us parents. One minor annoyance was a bit of chaos during drop-off times, but it didn’t overshadow the positive experience. Overall, I would recommend Aventuras if you're looking for a language program that encourages creativity in a supportive setting.

We recently enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the Aventuras language program in San Francisco, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructor, Maria, was incredibly engaging and seemed to spark a genuine interest in Spanish among the kids. They worked on a creative project where they created a mini storybook in Spanish, which I found impressive. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which was great for my daughter, who can be a bit shy. One downside was the long lines during drop-off, which made it a bit chaotic at times. Despite that, my daughter came home excited about the language and even made a few friends. I would recommend this program with the caveat that parents should plan for some extra time during drop-off.
