HOKALI - After School & Camps — Hockey

My son has been attending the HOKALI hockey program in San Francisco for the past month, and he’s really enjoying it. The instructors, like Coach Jake, are great at engaging the kids and ensuring they have fun while learning the game. They focus on skill development, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in his stick handling. The program runs smoothly after school, which is a huge plus for our busy family. However, the pickup process can get a bit chaotic with long lines, especially on days when there’s a special activity. While it’s not a deal-breaker, arriving a few minutes early helps. My son has made a couple of friends, which has boosted his confidence. Overall, I’d recommend HOKALI for parents looking for a structured sports program that keeps kids active and engaged.

My son learned how to shoot and pass the puck better and even made a friend during drills. Pickup after the session is organized, which I appreciate, making it easy to get him without any hassle. However, the area can get a bit crowded at times, especially with multiple groups using the same space. Thankfully, the instructors manage the chaos well. For active kids looking to enjoy hockey in a structured, supportive environment, I would recommend this program with the caveat to arrive early to avoid the crowds.
