Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco: Columbia Park Clubhouse — Hockey

We enrolled my 9-year-old son in the hockey program at the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco's Columbia Park Clubhouse, and he’s really enjoyed it. The instructor, Mike, was enthusiastic and had a real knack for engaging the kids, making the practices both fun and informative. My son particularly loved learning about stickhandling and even scored a few goals during practice! The weekly schedule worked well for us, and the pickup process was smooth most days. However, I noticed that some sessions got quite crowded, which made it a bit hectic at times when picking up. Overall, the program does offer a great opportunity for kids to stay active and learn teamwork in a supportive environment. I think it’s a solid choice for parents looking for an active outlet for their kids.
