Sports Plus Day Camp — Soccer

My son attended the Sports Plus Day Camp for Soccer in Portland, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, particularly a coach named Jake, were genuinely engaged and kept the kids excited about the sport. My son, who's quite active, really enjoyed the skill drills and the team games they played. He came home every day with stories about the new techniques he learned and the fun he had with his new friends. One downside was the long lines for pickup; it felt a bit chaotic at times, but once we got through, the staff was friendly and organized. The camp runs for full days, which worked well for our schedule, and they made sure the kids spent plenty of time outdoors. At around $350, it felt like a worthwhile investment for his growth and enjoyment in soccer. I would recommend it but be prepared for the crowded pickup situation.
