Center for Performing Arts and Dance (CPAD NYC) — Theatre

I recently enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the Theatre program at CPAD NYC, and overall, it was a positive experience. The instructors, particularly Jenna, were supportive and engaging, which helped my daughter feel more comfortable despite her shyness. Each week, they worked on building short scenes and even created a mini-play by the end of the session, which she was thrilled to perform for us. The only downside was the long lines during drop-off and pickup, which made things a little chaotic. However, once inside, the small group size really allowed for personalized attention and more chances for each child to participate. If your child is creative and enjoys performing, I think they would benefit from this program, just be prepared for some wait times.

Overall, the small group size allowed for personalized attention, and Ella loved making new friends while exploring her creativity. I would recommend the program for parents looking for a nurturing environment for their kids, but just be prepared for some waiting at the end of class.
