BK Bots — Robotics

We enrolled my son in the BK Bots robotics program in New York and overall, it was a positive experience. The small group size allowed for more hands-on attention from the instructor, Jamie, who was enthusiastic and really engaged with the kids. My son built a simple robot that could navigate around obstacles, which sparked his creativity. One minor annoyance was the long lines during drop-off, which sometimes made it hectic to get him settled in on time. However, once inside, he was able to focus and really enjoyed the challenge of programming his robot. The weekly sessions are priced fairly for the quality, and I appreciate that he is learning valuable skills in a fun environment. I would recommend BK Bots, especially for kids who are interested in technology and who thrive in a creative setting.

He built a small robot that could navigate a maze, which was a big hit at home. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic, with long lines forming as parents waited to collect their kids. It took a good 20 minutes to get out of there, which felt excessive after a busy session. Despite that small annoyance, I think the program fosters a creative environment where kids can thrive. It was nice to see my son engaged and excited about his project, and he even made a friend during the activities. I would recommend BK Bots, especially for kids who enjoy building and problem-solving.
