We recently enrolled our 6-year-old in the Casa Adela languages program in New York and overall, it was a positive experience. The classes are held weekly, and I appreciated the small group size, which allowed the instructor, Sofia, to give each child personalized attention. My daughter was a bit shy but she loved learning new words and was excited to show off a little booklet she created with drawings and vocabulary. The staff was engaged and supportive, which helped her feel more comfortable. One downside was the long lines at pickup time. It was a bit chaotic as parents crowded around the entrance, making it hard to find my child at first. Also, I wish there were a bit more outdoor time during the sessions. Nonetheless, the atmosphere was inclusive and fun, and I believe my daughter learned a lot. I would recommend Casa Adela with the caveat of arriving early for pickup.

I took my 6-year-old son to Casa Adela's language program in New York, and overall, it was a positive experience. The small group size allowed for a lot of interaction, and the instructor, Maria, was excellent at keeping the kids engaged while teaching them basic Spanish phrases through songs and games. My son built a little vocabulary and even made a friend, which was great to see since he's a bit shy. However, I did run into a bit of a hassle during pickup. There were long lines forming outside, which made it a bit chaotic. It would have been helpful to have a better system in place for parents collecting their children. Despite that annoyance, the communication from the staff was clear, and I appreciated that they encouraged creativity through various projects. The price was fair for what we received, and I would recommend this program for any parents looking to introduce their kids to a new language in a fun way.
