My daughter, who is 9 and outgoing, has been attending The Little Theatre Company in Melbourne for a few weeks now, and she really enjoys it. They focus on developing performance skills, which has helped her gain confidence on stage. Last week, they worked on a scene from a popular play and she built a small set piece, which was a fun hands-on project. The instructors, particularly Emma, are very engaging and truly seem to connect with the kids. However, drop-off can be a bit chaotic, as there's no clear system for parents and it can get crowded. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience and can see my daughter thriving in this creative environment, but I recommend arriving early for pickup to avoid the rush.
