My 12-year-old daughter has been attending the Hamer Hall theatre program in Melbourne for about two months now, and overall, it's been a solid experience. The instructors, particularly a lady named Sarah, are genuinely engaged with the kids. They focus on creative projects, and my daughter has really enjoyed the opportunity to write her own short play. The small group size allows for plenty of individual attention, which is a big plus. One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup, which can get a bit chaotic with so many parents trying to collect their kids at the same time. It would help if they had a better system in place for that. However, the positive interactions she's had with both her peers and the staff outweigh the negatives. I’d recommend this program with the caveat that you should plan for extra time at pickup.
