My son, who is nine and a bit shy, has been attending the Extraordinary Kids Theatre program in Melbourne for about two months now. Each week, he gets to explore acting and storytelling, which has truly helped him come out of his shell. I appreciate the small group size, as it allows for more personalized attention from the instructors. Sarah, his instructor, is particularly engaging and has a knack for encouraging the kids to express themselves without feeling overwhelmed. My son recently built a puppet for a small performance, which he absolutely loved. One downside, however, is that the fees can add up with extra supplies for projects, which I didn’t anticipate. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience and would recommend it if you're looking for a supportive environment for your child to grow creatively.

My daughter attended the Extraordinary Kids Theatre program in Melbourne for the past few weeks, and overall, it has been a great experience. The instructor, Sarah, is incredibly engaging and seems to connect well with the kids. My daughter has built confidence in her acting abilities and even made a new friend, which was lovely to see since she is naturally a bit shy. They worked on a short play, and I was impressed with how much they accomplished in just a few sessions. However, the pickup process has been somewhat chaotic; we often had to wait in long lines, especially on the first day when everyone was trying to figure things out. This could be improved. Still, I would recommend this program for any child aged 8-10 who is looking to be more creative and express themselves through performance.
