I recently sent my 12-year-old son to the Golden Valleys Adventure Camp in Melbourne for an overnight skiing and snowboarding experience. Overall, he had a fantastic time. The instructors, especially Sarah, were highly engaged with the kids, making sure everyone felt included regardless of their skill level. My son loved the outdoor time spent on the slopes learning new tricks and improving his technique. The level of communication from the staff was also commendable; they provided updates and shared feedback on my son's progress, which I appreciated. However, the pickup process could have been more organized. We experienced long lines at the end of the camp, which made it a bit chaotic. Despite that hiccup, I would recommend this camp to other parents looking to immerse their kids in winter sports. My son even made a friend there, which was a nice bonus.
