Golden Valleys Adventure Camp — Nature & Outdoors

My son attended the Golden Valleys Adventure Camp in Melbourne last weekend, and overall, it was a solid experience. He had a blast exploring nature and even built a small shelter with his group, which he now proudly talks about. The staff, particularly a kind instructor named Mia, was genuinely engaged with the kids, which made a big difference. I appreciated the healthy snacks provided, too. However, we faced a bit of a hassle during pickup, as there were long lines that made it feel somewhat chaotic. Despite that, my son made a new friend and came home excited to share his adventures. I would recommend this camp for active kids who enjoy the outdoors, but just be prepared for some waiting at the end of the day.

The pickup process was a bit chaotic, though, with some long lines, so arriving a bit early is advisable. My son made a new friend, which was great to see, as he can be a bit shy in new settings. For the price, it felt worth it, and I appreciate that they focused on fostering a love for the outdoors. I would recommend the camp but suggest parents prepare for the pickup situation.
