Cotswold Outdoor Manchester - Didsbury — Skiing & Snowboarding

We enrolled our 12-year-old at the Cotswold Outdoor Manchester - Didsbury for skiing lessons this season, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Ben, was particularly engaged, making sure that each child received personal attention. My son loved learning how to navigate the slopes, and he even made a few friends in his small group, which was a nice bonus. The outdoor environment really kept him excited and energized. One minor annoyance was the pickup process—it could get a little chaotic at times, especially when several groups were trying to gather at once. However, the staff did their best to manage it. The pricing felt reasonable given the quality of instruction and the enjoyment my son got from it. I’d recommend this program, especially for kids who are active and eager to learn skiing or snowboarding.

They actually split the kids into smaller groups based on skill level, allowing for some tailored learning experiences. My son learned how to carve turns and even tackled a small slope by the end of the session. However, the line for pickup was quite long, which added some extra time to our day. They could definitely improve on the logistics there. Overall, it was a solid experience, and I think my son grew more confident on his skis. I’d recommend it, but plan for that pickup wait!
