I recently enrolled my 9-year-old at the Rocket Holiday Camps in Whalley Range, Manchester, and overall, it was a positive experience. The full-day coding program kept my child engaged, focusing on interactive projects like building a simple game using Scratch. The instructor, Sam, was particularly good at explaining the concepts in a fun way, which made coding feel less intimidating. One downside was the long lines during drop-off; we had to wait about 15 minutes, which was a bit frustrating on a busy morning. However, once inside, the environment was well-organized and felt safe. My child enjoyed the small group size, which allowed for more personalized attention. They also made a few friends during the camp, which was a bonus! If you're looking for a camp that blends coding with creativity and a supportive atmosphere, this one is worth considering, just be prepared for some wait time at drop-off.
