The Art Imaginarium - Hackney — Photography

My son, who is 12 and quite creative, recently attended The Art Imaginarium's photography program in Hackney. He was excited to learn about composition and lighting, and he ended up creating a series of portraits that he was really proud of. The instructor, Mia, was engaging and provided hands-on guidance, which kept the kids interested. I appreciated the small group size, as it allowed for more personalized attention. However, drop-off was a bit chaotic; there were a lot of parents at the same time, and it felt a bit overwhelming. Overall, it was a solid experience, and my son came away inspired and eager to take more pictures. I would recommend it, but I’d suggest arriving early for drop-off to avoid the rush.

Despite these small annoyances, I'd recommend the program for kids who are creative and enjoy hands-on projects. It's a great way to help them develop a new skill in a supportive environment.
