Active Day Camps — Nature & Outdoors

I enrolled my 6-year-old son in the Active Day Camps — Nature & Outdoors program in London, and overall, we had a solid experience. The camp focuses on getting kids outdoors, which was a big selling point for me. My son had a great time building a small birdhouse from recycled materials, and he loved interacting with the other kids. He even made a new friend, which is always a bonus. The staff was attentive and clearly engaged in the activities, which I appreciated. However, the drop-off process was a bit chaotic; we had to wait in a long line that made me anxious about timing. Additionally, I noticed there wasn’t much shade in the playground area, so I recommend packing extra sunscreen. Despite these minor annoyances, I would definitely consider sending him back for another round. If your child enjoys being active and exploring nature, this program is worth a try.

There were long lines during the final hour, and it felt a bit chaotic as parents rushed to collect their kids. If you’re planning to go, I suggest arriving a bit earlier to avoid the stress. Despite that, I recommend the camp, especially if your child is active and enjoys outdoor activities. They truly embrace nature, which is a big plus for us.
