River Cree Twin Rinks — Hockey

We enrolled my son, who is 9, in the weekly hockey program at River Cree Twin Rinks in Edmonton. Overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, particularly a coach named Mike, were engaging and really encouraged the kids to work together on their skating skills and teamwork. My son built a lot of confidence on the ice and even made a new friend. One downside was that the sessions sometimes felt crowded, making it hard for the coach to give individual attention to each player. Pickup after practice could also be a bit hectic, especially on weekends. Despite these minor annoyances, I would recommend this program to parents looking for a supportive environment for their active kids. The price is reasonable for the value offered, and I can see my son continuing to improve his skills here.
