Colorado Rapids Gates South Fields — Soccer

We enrolled my 6-year-old at the Colorado Rapids Gates South Fields in Denver for their weekly soccer program, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The coaches, like Coach Mike, are incredibly engaging and really focus on skill development while ensuring the kids have fun. My son built his confidence while learning new techniques, and he made a couple of friends, which was a nice bonus. The facility is well-maintained, and I appreciate the outdoor setting—it makes a big difference for the kids' energy levels. However, I did notice that the pickup process can get a bit crowded, especially on Saturdays when multiple age groups are practicing at the same time. It would be helpful if they could manage that a little better. Despite this minor annoyance, I would still recommend the program for any active child looking to enjoy soccer.

The program is structured well for his age group, and I've seen him make new friends through the small group interactions. If your child is into soccer and thrives in an active environment, this program is worth considering.
