Kidcreate Studio Denver South — Photography

My 12-year-old daughter recently participated in the photography program at Kidcreate Studio Denver South, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Lisa, was very engaging and did a great job breaking down the basics of photography in a way that kept the kids interested. My daughter particularly loved the project where they got to create a themed photo collage; she spent hours planning and taking pictures. The small group size allowed for plenty of one-on-one attention, which was definitely a plus. However, I did find the pickup process a bit chaotic at times, as there were a lot of parents arriving at once, and it could get a little confusing. Still, I would recommend this program for creative kids looking to explore photography. It's a good mix of education and fun, and my daughter made a couple of new friends along the way.

The small group size allowed for more individual attention, which was a plus. One downside was the check-in process, which had long lines on the first day. It was a bit hectic, and I felt rushed to drop him off. However, once inside, he seemed to adapt well and made a friend who shared his interest in photography. The cost is on the higher side, but considering the skills and creativity my son developed, it felt worthwhile. I’d recommend it for kids who are already somewhat creative and looking to explore photography further.
