Calgary Tutor Buddy — Tutoring

My son, who is 15, has been attending Calgary Tutor Buddy for a few weeks now, and overall, I’ve seen some good progress in his math skills. The instructor, Sarah, has managed to keep him engaged with various strategies tailored to his needs. I especially appreciate the communication from the staff; they check in regularly to give me updates on his performance and areas to focus on. However, I did notice that some sessions involve quite a bit of screen time, which my son is not fond of. While it seems to aid in some learning aspects, I’d prefer fewer distractions. Despite this minor drawback, I believe the program is helping him gain confidence and improve academically. The environment is quiet, and he has already made a few friends in his small group. I’d recommend it, just with a bit of caution regarding the screen time.

However, the small group size really allows for more personalized attention, which makes it worthwhile. The pickup process can get a bit chaotic at times, but it hasn’t deterred us from the benefits she’s gaining from this program. I would recommend this program, just keep an eye on the extra costs that might come up.
