The Pumphouse Theatre — Theatre

I recently took my 9-year-old to The Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary for their theatre program. My child, who tends to be a bit shy, was initially apprehensive about participating. However, the engaged staff, especially our instructor, Sarah, made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Over the course of the program, they created their own short play and built some great confidence through creative projects. I appreciated the small group size, which allowed for more personal attention and less pressure. One downside was the long lines during drop-off, which could be frustrating, especially on busy days. Overall, I would recommend this program for kids who enjoy storytelling and creativity—just be prepared for some wait times at the start!
