My 15-year-old daughter has been attending the Screen Acting Academy in Calgary for a few months now, and we've seen a notable improvement in her confidence and acting skills. The classes are structured, focusing on hands-on training and scene work, which she really enjoys. The small group size allows for more personalized attention from the instructor, Jessica, who is incredibly engaging and supportive. One highlight for my daughter was creating her audition clip; she put a lot of effort into it and loved every moment of the process. However, I did find the tuition a bit on the high side, especially since there are additional costs for things like headshots. Overall, I would recommend this program for teens interested in acting, just be prepared for the financial commitment.

My daughter has been attending the Screen Acting Academy of Canada in Calgary for about three months now, and overall, we're pleased with the experience. The instructor, Alex, is particularly engaging and does a great job of encouraging the students to express themselves. My daughter has really enjoyed the scene work, especially when she got to perform a monologue in front of her peers. However, I did find the tuition somewhat steep, especially with additional costs for headshots. The small class size has allowed her to grow more confident and even make a new friend, which is a big win. The only downside was the somewhat chaotic pickup situation; it felt disorganized at times. If your child is creative but shy, this could be a great outlet for them, just be prepared for some added costs.
