Martha Cohen Theatre — Theatre

My son attended the Martha Cohen Theatre program in Calgary last month, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, especially a lady named Sarah, really connected with the kids, making them feel comfortable expressing themselves. My son created a little skit that he performed on stage, which helped boost his confidence. The snacks provided during breaks were a nice touch too, keeping the kids energized. One downside was the long lines during pick-up; it got a bit chaotic at times, but it was manageable. My son, who is a bit shy, found it a good environment to open up creatively. I would recommend this program, especially for kids who enjoy drama and storytelling. Just be prepared for the wait at the end of the day.

My daughter, who is 9 and quite creative, recently participated in the Theatre program at Martha Cohen Theatre in Calgary. She absolutely loved the opportunity to explore acting and even got to create her own short skit with her small group. Overall, the experience was enriching for her, and she made a couple of new friends along the way. I’d definitely recommend this program for kids who enjoy creative projects, but parents should be prepared for some wait time during drop-off and pickup.
