shy

My daughter attended the Green Fools Theatre Society's weekly program in Calgary, and overall, we had a positive experience. The instructor, Mia, was incredibly engaging and made everyone feel included, which was crucial since my daughter is quite shy. She built her confidence while participating in creative projects like puppet-making and improvisation games. I noticed her really come out of her shell over the weeks, which was wonderful to see. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic, often leading to long lines as parents waited to collect their kids. Although this was mildly annoying, it didn't overshadow the value of the program. The price was reasonable for the quality of instruction and the focus on inclusivity. I would recommend this theater program, especially for children seeking a nurturing environment to express themselves.

creative

My daughter attended the Green Fools Theatre Society program in Calgary for the past six weeks and it has been a positive experience overall. The staff, particularly our instructor, Lila, was incredibly engaging and seemed to genuinely care about each child's development. They worked on a creative project where the kids created their own short skits, which really helped boost my daughter’s confidence and inspired her to express her ideas. However, we did experience some long lines during pickup, which made it a bit chaotic at times, especially after a busy class. That being said, the small group size meant that my daughter received plenty of personal attention, and she made a few friends along the way. I’d recommend this program for creative kids, but just be prepared for a bit of a wait during pickup.
