We recently enrolled our 6-year-old at the Sir Winston Churchill Aquatic & Recreation Centre for swimming lessons. Overall, it was a good experience. The instructors, like Jenna, were very engaging and worked well with the kids. My child was excited to learn how to float and even managed to practice some kicking techniques. I appreciated the small group size, which allowed for more personalized attention. However, we did encounter long lines during drop-off, which made it a bit chaotic at the start. It was sometimes hard to keep track of where to go amidst the crowd. Once in the water, though, my child felt confident and happy. They even made a friend during the session, which was a bonus. I would recommend this program, but it might be wise to arrive a bit early to avoid the lines. Overall, a solid choice for active kids learning to swim.
