We enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the Cascade Swim Club program in Calgary, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The classes are held at the Acadia pool every Saturday, which is convenient for our schedule. The instructors, especially a coach named Sarah, are really engaged with the kids, providing personalized feedback which my daughter appreciates. She's been working on her strokes and has made some friends in her small group, which is great for her social skills. However, there's often a bit of a wait during pickup, which can be frustrating, especially when it's chilly outside. Despite that, I do think the program is beneficial for her development as a swimmer, and I would recommend it with the caveat to prepare for potential delays. We're looking forward to seeing her progress in the coming weeks.

My son has been attending the Cascade Swim Club in Calgary for the past few weeks, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructors, like Coach Emily, are very engaged and have a great way of connecting with the kids. My son has learned new swimming techniques and feels more confident in the water. The small group size really helps, as he gets more personalized attention. However, on the first day, we did experience some long lines during check-in, which was a bit chaotic. Once we got past that, though, the communication from the staff was clear and helpful. The cost is reasonable for the value provided, and I can see my son getting stronger and more skilled each week. I would recommend this program, especially for active kids looking to improve their swimming skills while having fun.
