Soccer Heroes — Soccer

I enrolled my 6-year-old son in Soccer Heroes this past month at the Accurate Fieldhouse in Calgary. The program is structured well, focusing on physical literacy and agility through themed adventures, which really kept him engaged. Coach Jenna was fantastic—she had a way of making the drills feel like fun games rather than just practice. My son particularly enjoyed the ‘Dragon Adventure’ where they had to dribble past obstacles. The small group size allowed for more individual attention, which was great. One downside was the long lines at pickup; it could certainly be better organized. We had to wait longer than expected, especially on rainy days when everyone was trying to leave at once. Overall, I’m happy with the experience, and my son has made new friends and really enjoys going each week. I would recommend it, especially for active kids looking for a fun way to stay fit.

However, I did find the drop-off process a bit chaotic; it can get crowded, and it was tough to navigate through the other parents and kids. If you’re looking for a program that fosters physical skills while keeping it fun, I recommend Soccer Heroes. Just be prepared for a bit of a scramble at the start of each session.
