MAC United Soccer Club — Soccer

My son has been attending the MAC United Soccer Club in Calgary for a few months now, and overall, it's been a positive experience. The weekly sessions are well-organized, and the instructors, like Coach Alex, are genuinely engaged with the kids. My son is quite active and has really enjoyed developing his soccer skills and even made a new friend during practice. The pickup process is also smooth, which is a relief for busy parents. One small annoyance was that sometimes the practices ran a little late, which disrupted our evening schedule. However, the friendly atmosphere and the focus on skill development compensate for that. If you have a child who loves soccer and is in the age group of 8-10, I would recommend giving MAC United a try. Just keep in mind to plan for a bit of flexibility with timing.

My son loved learning to dribble and score, and he even made a new friend from the team. The only downside was the long lines for check-in on the first day, which created some chaos. Once we got past that, however, the sessions went smoothly. The club did a great job of utilizing the outdoor space, which kept the kids active and entertained. For parents considering a soccer program for their active kids, I would recommend giving MAC United a try, just be prepared for the lines at the start.
