Calgary Villains FC — Soccer

We enrolled my 6-year-old in the Calgary Villains FC soccer program this fall, and overall, it's been a solid experience. The coaching staff, particularly our instructor, Jamie, has been very engaging, making practices fun while focusing on skill development. My son has loved working on his dribbling and even scored a goal last week during a friendly match! Pickup is easy, which is a relief after a long day. One minor annoyance has been the crowds at the facilities during peak times; it can feel a bit chaotic with so many kids running around. However, Jamie has done well managing the group, keeping the kids focused and active. If you're looking for a program that offers solid training and a chance for kids to play outdoors, I would recommend it, but be prepared for some busyness during drop-off and pickup times.

My son has been attending the Calgary Villains FC soccer program for a couple of months now, and overall, I have been quite pleased with our experience. The sessions are held weekly at the Villains Training Centre, which provides a nice environment for the kids. The instructor, Sam, is really engaging and knows how to keep young kids motivated. My son has built some basic soccer skills and has even made a couple of friends along the way. One downside I've noticed is that the sessions can get a bit crowded at times, particularly on weekends. It can feel a little chaotic during pickup, which is not ideal when trying to gather the kids after practice. However, the small group sizes allow for plenty of individual attention, which offsets some of that craziness. For active kids, this is a solid choice, and I would recommend it with a few minor considerations in mind.
