YMCA Camp Riveredge — Science

My son attended the YMCA Camp Riveredge's Science program in Calgary, and overall, we had a good experience. The camp is set in a beautiful location at Sandy Beach Park, which made for plenty of outdoor exploration. He was thrilled to build a mini rocket and launch it during one of the science activities, which really sparked his interest. The instructors, particularly a staff member named Lucy, were friendly and engaged with the kids, making sure everyone participated. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic, with long lines forming at times, which made it a little stressful. Despite that, my son made a new friend and was excited to share what he learned each day. I would recommend this program, especially for active kids who love being outdoors and exploring new things.

Just be prepared for the potential wait at the end of the day. I would recommend this program, but managing the pickup time might be key for a smoother experience.
