Wild Life Outdoor Adventures — Science

My 6-year-old attended the Wild Life Outdoor Adventures program in Calgary, and overall, we had a good experience. The engaging staff, especially our instructor, Sarah, made the science activities fun and interactive. Each week, my child explored various nature themes. Last week, they made a mini terrarium, which sparked her creativity. It was wonderful to see her so engaged outdoors. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic with long lines forming, which made it less than ideal for parents trying to juggle everything after work. While this program is perfect for active kids who love being outside, I can see how shyer children might feel overwhelmed. Overall, I'd recommend it, but possibly with a heads-up for other parents about the pickup situation.

My son, who is 6, has been attending the Wild Life Outdoor Adventures program in Calgary for the past few weeks, and overall, we’ve had a solid experience. The activities are engaging; last week, he built a birdhouse during the 'nature crafts' session, which he’s now so proud of. The instructor, Jenna, was attentive and clearly loved working with the kids, which made the experience enjoyable. However, drop-off can be a bit chaotic, and we experienced long lines waiting to check in. It would help if they had a more organized system for that. Still, my son always comes home excited and has made a few friends, which is a big win in my book. I definitely recommend this program, especially if your child is active and loves being outdoors.
