Stem Wonders — Science

We recently enrolled our 9-year-old in the Stem Wonders program in Calgary, and overall, it was a solid experience. My child was part of a small group, which I appreciated as it allowed for more interaction with the instructor, Jamie. They worked on a project where they created simple circuits, which really sparked my child's interest in science. The pickup after class was efficient, but we did encounter long lines at times, especially on the first day, which was a bit frustrating. The staff was quite engaged with the kids, and I felt they genuinely cared about making the learning process fun. My child was able to make a new friend during the session as well, which was a delightful bonus. I would recommend this program, but just be prepared for potential wait times during busy pickups.

They worked on building simple circuits, and my child loved creating a light-up badge. It was great to see them so focused and excited about learning. However, the program was a bit crowded, which made the pickup process a bit chaotic at the end. I would recommend getting there a few minutes early to navigate through the busy space. On the positive side, my child made a new friend during the activities, which was a nice bonus. The small group size really allowed for more hands-on guidance, making it a valuable experience despite the minor annoyance. We're looking forward to returning next week!
