Roots 2 STEM — Science

We recently attended the Roots 2 STEM program in Calgary with my 9-year-old, and overall it was a positive experience. The instructor, Sarah, was enthusiastic and clearly passionate about science. My child particularly enjoyed building a small robot and learning how to program it using basic coding commands. It was great to see the small group size, which allowed for more one-on-one attention. However, we did encounter a bit of a hassle with long lines during pickup, which added some stress at the end of class. Despite this minor issue, I appreciated the hands-on approach and how engaged the staff were with the kids. My child came home excited about what they learned and can’t wait for the next session. I would recommend this program for parents looking for a creative outlet for their kids, just be prepared for some patience at pickup.
