I enrolled my 9-year-old in the Kids Camps Calgary Science program, and overall, it was a solid experience. My child particularly enjoyed the hands-on experiments, especially when they created their own mini volcanoes. The instructor, Sarah, was very engaging and kept the kids excited about learning. Pickup was smooth, which I appreciated, but we did experience some long lines during drop-off, which was a bit frustrating. The camp also incorporated baking sessions where my child learned about food safety, which was a nice touch. My child made a couple of friends and came home sharing all sorts of science facts. I would definitely recommend it for other parents, just be prepared for a little chaos during the morning drop-off.

My son attended the Kids Camps Calgary science program last week, and overall, it was a solid experience. He loved the hands-on experiments, particularly the day they made a simple volcano with baking soda and vinegar. The staff, especially his instructor, Sam, was engaging and kept the kids focused throughout the day. They also had a great assortment of snacks, which kept everyone energized. However, the drop-off line on Monday morning was quite chaotic, with parents trying to find parking, leading to long waits before we could say goodbye. Also, I would recommend bringing a hat if your child is sensitive to the sun, as we spent quite a bit of time outdoors. My son, who is quite active, really enjoyed making new friends and has been talking about the science projects non-stop since he came home. I would recommend this camp but advise planning for some extra time at pickup.
