TELUS Spark Science Centre — Robotics

I took my 6-year-old to the Robotics program at TELUS Spark in Calgary last Saturday. The hands-on activities were fantastic; my child built a small robot that could move using simple commands, which really sparked their interest in STEM. The instructor, Jake, was attentive and made sure each kid felt included in the activities. However, the space was a bit crowded, making it tough for me to keep an eye on my child during some of the more complex tasks. I appreciated the small group size, as it allowed for more personalized attention. Overall, it was a solid experience, and I would recommend it to parents looking for engaging activities for their kids, just be prepared for a busy environment. We also enjoyed a quick snack at the café afterward, which was convenient!
