My son just finished the robotics program at Steamoji Calgary North, and overall, we had a good experience. His instructor, Liam, was very engaging and encouraged the kids to think critically while they built their own robots. Each week, they worked on different challenges, and my son loved creating a robot that could navigate a simple obstacle course. The small group size really helped him get personalized attention, which he thrived on. However, I found the drop-off process to be a bit chaotic, with too many parents trying to squeeze into the same entrance at once, making it stressful for everyone. Despite that, I would recommend this program for kids interested in STEM, especially if they are creative and enjoy hands-on projects. The weekly sessions were well-structured, and I appreciated the focus on problem-solving skills.

My son has been attending the Steamoji Calgary North robotics program for a few weeks now, and overall, it's been a solid experience. He loves building robots and has created a simple vehicle that can navigate through obstacles, which he proudly showcased during our last pick-up. The instructor, Jenna, is very engaging and seems to connect well with the kids, fostering creativity and teamwork. The small group size allows for individualized attention, which I appreciate. However, I did find the drop-off process a bit chaotic at times, with a lot of kids and parents all trying to enter the same area at once. It can be a bit overwhelming. Despite this, my son is always excited to go back and has even made a new friend in the class. I would recommend this program for active kids who enjoy hands-on projects, just be prepared for some initial drop-off hurdles.
